Refund Policy

At Garma, we want you to be satisfied with your experience. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for subscription payments and credit purchases.

1. Credit-Based Service

Garma operates on a credit-based model. Each subscription plan includes a monthly allocation of generation credits. Credits are consumed each time you generate an AI product image. Understanding how credits work is important for assessing refund eligibility.

  • Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle.
  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods.
  • Each image generation attempt consumes credits, regardless of the outcome (approved or rejected).

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You retain access to all features and remaining credits until the period ends.
  • No further charges will be made after the current period.
  • We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods after cancellation.

3. Refund Eligibility

We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. The following situations generally qualify for a refund:

3.1 Duplicate Charges

If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.

3.2 Service Outage

If a significant service outage prevented you from using a substantial portion of your credits during a billing period, you may be eligible for a partial or full credit refund. "Significant" means an outage lasting more than 48 consecutive hours or cumulative downtime exceeding 72 hours in a single billing period.

3.3 Failed Generations (System Errors)

If an image generation fails due to a system error on our end, the credits for that generation are automatically refunded to your account balance. No manual refund request is needed in this case.

3.4 First-Time Subscribers

If you are a first-time paid subscriber and are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment, provided you have not consumed more than 20% of your plan's credit allocation.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available in the following circumstances:

  • Subjective quality concerns: AI-generated images that do not meet your aesthetic preferences are not grounds for a refund. We encourage using the style template preview and generating test images with your trial credits before subscribing.
  • Credits consumed as intended: Credits spent on successful generations (even if you choose to reject the output) cannot be refunded.
  • Account termination for policy violations: If your account is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.
  • Expired billing periods: Refund requests for billing periods that ended more than 30 days ago.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  1. Email us at support@garma.ai with the subject line "Refund Request."
  2. Include your account email, the billing date in question, and a brief description of the reason for your request.
  3. Attach any relevant screenshots or details that support your request (for example, error messages or evidence of duplicate charges).

6. Processing Time

We aim to review and respond to refund requests within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed through your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

7. Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade your subscription to a lower tier, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain access to your current plan's features and credits until the end of the current period. No refund is issued for the difference between plan prices during the current billing period.

8. Free Trial

Garma offers a free Trial plan with 10 generation credits. The Trial plan requires no payment information and therefore no refund applies. We recommend using the Trial plan to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
